    I just picked up a used MAC h-pipe. it's used, but in good shape HOWEVER the hangers are cut off. I thought I read somewhere that this was done on purpose (if the pipe hangs too low). Should I get new hangers welded on? any help would be appreciated.

    I can't see there being a huge difference until you get into some pretty high horsepower numbers, at that point the 2.25" will be limiting.

    I had the same problem. I have no a/c, and no smog pump, and even a 69" belt stretched and bottomed out my tensioner within a couple weeks. You have to go with a belt .5" shorter. Its a tight fit. I could only get it on one way, first use a piece of wood to hold the tensioner all the way up...
