I have a newly painted piece of trim to replace the existing cracked one. Its the piece on the drivers' side rear quarter panel. I was told that it is held on with 'speed nuts' but I don't know how to access them. thanks in advance.

Remove the trunk liners on either side of the trunk, feel down behind the rear panel inside the trunk, opposide where the moldings are, and you will feel the three speed nuts. Use a ratcheting wrench, 13mm I believe. You will get a nasty cramp in your forearm, and dancing around the filler neck will be fun...but it should only take you about 10 minutes to do both.

thanks fett. I only have to replace the one on the drivers' side so I don't have to worry about the filler neck, however I will have to remove my cd changer to access it. thanks again. that was a quick reply!!!
