    Help!!! Transmission problems

It's possible you have a bad/worn synchronizer or your 3-4 shift fork is bent/misaligned.

Best T56 fluid? GM syncromesh, royal purple syncromax, or other??

Probably not, but it might make shifting a little sluggish before it warms up, particularly in a newer transmission. As for what "most people say" I've found over the years that unless you know how many miles are on someone's transmission/clutch & how they drive, those testimonials don't mean...

Best T56 fluid? GM syncromesh, royal purple syncromax, or other??

Unless you race a lot or live in the Southwest, Tremec doesn't suggest Synchromesh as it's intended for high temp use. Dex III is the suggested fluid for year-round typical use.

How is insurance on a SN-95. V-6 and a young driver???

FWIW, the V6 auto Mustang will run the quarter at least a full second & several mph faster than the Grand Marquis.

    Emission Testing Issues

Without the EGR system connected, I don't know how you'd fool the computer into thinking the EGR was intact & the O2 sensors were functioning properly. I have an SCT 4 tuner for my '01 & there's no way to program that functionality back into the computer. You can program for the deleted...

    For Sale Four Eye Fox

For anyone interested, I met Don this week & gave the car a thorough looking over. It's the real deal - very nice condition & runs great. Paint is not perfect - there are some rock chips here & there, with a couple small touch-ups - but it appears to be original & not a repaint. Underside is...

WTB/Trade WTB 82 Mustang GT Front Nose Assembly

I just logged onto CL; didn't see the post anymore, but did see one for an 83 front clip & that may have been by the same guy. I check the Chicagoland & Milwaukee CL regularly for bumper covers, so if I see anything for an 82 pop up, I'll let you know.

    Throttle Body

What do you mean by "chip?" In my opinion, unless you change the timing for 93 octane or higher, a larger tb isn't going to do anything noticeable with your exhaust mods.

You mean you're looking for this style? If so, there was one on the Chicago Craigslist a month or so ago.

RANT!!! Burn It To The Ground

I'm not loving it so far, but I just changed to Darkmoon, so we'll see if that improves my experience. Personally, the interface looks very early 2000s to me - kinda archaic.

    Help Please

There's a late 90s Cobra for sale locally here in Chicago with a bad motor & I think they're asking $3,800 or so. Interior pics looked nice & it had suspension upgrades, so somewhat comparable to your situation.

    What's Going On Here???

The Bullitt is getting a lot of discussion on some other sites, but I agree, not seeing too much about the '18 GT in general. Personally, I think that may partly be because the price tag is now around $48K for a GT Premium with auto, Magneride & Performance Pack II - that's awfully expensive...

Progress Thread Help 1996 Mustang Gt Pi Bullit Swap

If the Bullitt intake is in good shape, $1,200 is a good deal - they're still selling for $800 - $1,000. Clean the paint off it & you'll have most of your money back right there if the motor itself turns out bad.

What Should I Do With Beat Up 99 35th Anniversary?

Agreed. From my experience seeing/pricing the 1984 Anniversary models, only the super low mileage ones have any real collector value - too many made with too few options for there to be a wide variety of "1 of xxx made" possibilities.

Paint and Body New Edge, 1969 Boss Style Graphics

I've seen the C-stripe on a Termi at a car show. Looks dumb to me - the angle is off & isn't a good representation of the original.
