    Buying newer GT, few questions first.

    Havent had any problems w/ my 01. Well except somehow the starter cable came un done. A fuse went out causing car not to start :shrug: I paid $14300 w/ 59k miles on it. Could have found one cheaper maybe but I had to go threw a dealership since I was only 18! And dont forget to take the lift...

    Isnt it a good idea to rebuild it while putting gears in? I know they sell something for when replacing gears,just cant remember what it is!

    Just got some G-force d/r's and well Now the drivers side tire will not spin! On street tires I had no problem unlesss I was turing right and trying to spin the tires! Anyone have any suggestions? Or is it normal. I know it did not do it in my 98Gt! BTW the whole rearend is stock and car is a 01 gt!

    I just bought a set of those.I bought the kumho Mx tires, go with 265/35 and 295/35. Tire rack has the best prices. The fronts were $370 shipped! How much are these wheels going for on ebay?

    car looks awesome! I agree w/ everyone else and drive it as much as possible. I would avoid the bad weather though. Where i live I see two saleens every morning on my way to work. silver hardtop and a white conv. I hate to see cars that are always garaged and never driven!

    Dont waste your time w/ the old method! Go and buy you a few s.o.s pads! first peel the tint off,and then spray windex and then rub the sos pads,want take as long as razor blade!!

    17" vs 18" Wheels (Performance Issues)

    If your afraid of loss of traction then get some drag radials. I have some 18x9 and 18x10.5 03 cobra wheels on the way, w/ bfg's 275/35/18 D/R. IMO 18's all the way on 99+. wheels wells are just too big for stockers!

    Anyone else have an idleing problem?

    My car is a stock 01 gt save for exhaust and k&n. Some mornings and even some afternoons the car will not idle. I have to keep givin it gas all through town for about 5-10 minutes :shrug: My old 98 gt did the same thing, and my mom just told me hers has done it before,hers is also a 01 gt...

    DID NITROUS RUIN MY ENGINE?

    GO out and look under your dash at all your fuses. I had a fuse blow on me it was the bottom left,Its one of the small ones. I never touched anything electrical on my car before ,it just blew! This may not be it but thats what my car was doing,kinda clicking but would not turn over at all!

    Those of you that have seen an Evo run at the track know there fast. I have a buddy that had 3"exhaust,and claimed the rest was stock and he ran a 12.40 Went to the track last week and seen one running 11.80's. That AWD is unreal. They can bounce off the rev limiter and just launch! Not many...
