Anyone else have an idleing problem?

My car is a stock 01 gt save for exhaust and k&n. Some mornings and even some afternoons the car will not idle. I have to keep givin it gas all through town for about 5-10 minutes My old 98 gt did the same thing, and my mom just told me hers has done it before,hers is also a 01 gt. Anyone have any ideas? Maybe fuel filter?

Could be the fuel filter, depending on mileage, but more likely is the IAC valve. Clean it or replace it. Took care of my idling troubles.
