What kind of heads are these?

I know this post is a few months old. What's up with the threaded rocker arm stud holes?

WTB/Trade Wanted: Looking for 2003 GT being parted out near north Alabama

I'm looking for someone near north Alabama parting out a 2003 Mustang GT. I need a complete powertrain harness that has been properly disconnected at the connectors and not hacked and I need the 2003 PCM too. If you have just a PCM, let me know. There are several numbers on the sticker on the...

I think that a couple of you missed the point of my original question. Thanks though for the information about aluminum performance heads. I'll ask it again... I was curious if anyone has used a 5.0 with the "P" heads in a 1965 or 1966 Mustang in particular but the main question is, will "Tri-Y"...

A 67 fast back conversion for Mrs. bbettto !

Jim, post #67. I like your flat bar idea. We still haven't dragged out our old PanelSpotter to try to get new tips for it. We were discussing dipping the tips in some kind of paste flux before each weld. When we parked it, the tips were getting half welded to the sheet metal part. Do you have an...

Fuel Stock 1994 5.0 throttle body size

I have the aluminum in hand and a machinist lined up to make a 65mm hole. That is the 98 Explorer tb bore size, and the limitation of the T-bird style intake. Both throttle body gaskets stacked to plot out where the 65mm hole will go. ('94 Mustang gasket is sitting a tad crooked)

    T5 Identification Advice Needed

Which pilot bushing would you use to put a 5.0 in to a factory V-6 1994 Mustang?

Fuel Stock 1994 5.0 throttle body size

Face of 1994 intake flange. Rectangular and not as large as the explorer throttle body face. 1998 Ford Explorer throttle body gasket larger than 1994 intake flange. 1"x5"x5" piece of T6061 for flange. Notes to self: '94 flange bolts need to be 1/4-20 Allen head bolts to go through the 94...

Engine Are dowel pins needed to align a front timing cover?

With the dowel alignment "sleeves", the timing cover only can sit in one position.

Fuel Stock 1994 5.0 throttle body size

@Mustang5L5 Thanks for replying. Friday, I mulled over several ideas and have determined that I need to make a 1" thick adapter out of aluminum to be able to use the Explorer throttle body. The engine is for a truck project and it will be using an Explorer 5.0 throttle cable. 58mm to 65mm is 12%...

Fuel Stock 1994 5.0 throttle body size

I thought that I had found a solution. I removed a 1999 Crown Vic throttle body. It fit on the 1994 intake with room to spare. Then I realized that it doesn't have an IAC on it. Bore was good though. 65mm. Oh well.

Fuel Stock 1994 5.0 throttle body size

The first pic is of a 1991 Thunderbird that first used the intake assembly that some 1994 Mustangs came with if the didn't have the GT40 style. The 2nd pick is of (my) the 1997 Mercury Mountaineer engine that has the GT40 style intake assembly. My first c-n-p project. The 3rd pick is the intake...

Fuel Stock 1994 5.0 throttle body size

I have a 5.0 project going that includes a stock 1994 5.0 intake assembly. It is NOT the GT40 style intake. It is the style first used on the 1991 Thunderbirds. What is the stock bore off the throttle body? 58mm, 60mm? I have a 65mm '98 Explorer throttle body that I was hoping would fit however...

A 67 fast back conversion for Mrs. bbettto !

Would your new panel spotter work on the door frames? Once about 20 years ago on VMF, a guy made custom tips/tongs? about 3 ft long and the were shaped to go around the complete rocker assembly to spot weld floors to the front framerails. I wondered how he ever was able to bend them where the...
