    supercharger alternator problem

Lengthing the wires is sometimes needed. I have a 3g alternator and the power wire connector is a tight fit, but nothing major. Are you sure the swaybar is in the correct position? Maybe some very badly worn bushings? I have a Vortech, but I believe the brackets are pretty much the same...

I believe that the Lightning ones came like that. I think I have the Ford Racing one and it does not come with that hole there.

Vacuum lines on tubular GT-40 intake. Different than Cobra....

Right now I have that forward facing port running to a "T" in the rear port on the underside of the plenum. The other side of that "T" goes to my PVC valve. So do I need somesort of "T" for the front port? Or is there anyplace else that I can hook this up? What happens if I just plug it?

Vacuum lines on tubular GT-40 intake. Different than Cobra....

Okay, one more question. On the Cobra intake there is a small port that is on the front of the intake. A vacuum hose connects to it, I believe it is emissions related. It is kind of inline with the EGR spacer, if there was one. Where does this line connect on the GT-40? Do I just run it...

Vacuum lines on tubular GT-40 intake. Different than Cobra....

I just received a brand new GT-40 intake in the mail today that I found on ebay. Does anybody have a diagram or pictures of how to run the vacuum lines for the GT-40? The ports are different on the two, and I am not sure how to connect everything correctly.....

    AutoMeter Oil Pressure Gauge Help!!

Autometer makes a stainless line kit with AN-4 or AN-3 line that you can get from SummitRacing.com. It will include all of your fittings that you need. I would be careful how you route it because I don't think it would last either if it is up against the header. You could also go with an...

Shorter belt when switching to a 93 Cobra water pump pulley?

I just didn't want to remove the blower belt if I didn't have to but it will give me more room anyway to install the pulley....

Shorter belt when switching to a 93 Cobra water pump pulley?

Well, didn't the cobra have a smaller alternator and crank pulley too? I guess the best way will be to measure once I get the pulley mounted.

Shorter belt when switching to a 93 Cobra water pump pulley?

I came across a 93 Cobra water pump pulley and have decided to use it for some better cooling. Does the change in diameter of the pulley require a different belt? My tensioner mark is about in the middle of its range right now.

Dyno the Car at the Parkway Ford Show...Give me your thoughts.

Do you have a part number for them? I looked at Flowmaster # 15820 on Summit Racing and it appears that they go over the axle. Any ground clearance issues? Sorry, didn't mean to highjack the thread...

Dyno the Car at the Parkway Ford Show...Give me your thoughts.

Nice looking car. I saw it there and was curious about your exhaust set up. What kind of tailpipes are those that come out below the axle? Are they custom? What size are they? And aren't you running 315's out in the back? Nice car.....:nice:

a little input on my dynoe graph please

After about 3,100 rpm you seem to start running "rich". I know not all tuners are the same, but on a n/a engine I was thinking they wanted you around 13:1 or so. I think you gave up some power there running so rich. I am thinking that A/F line should be a lot straighter than that...

Who makes the threaded bolt tensenior for Vortech belts?

I am looking for the threaded bolt tensioner to adjust the tightness of the Vortech belt. I see Elk Performance has one. Is that the only company making them? I have never dealt with them before, is it a good product?
