    Official Tremec 3650 Issues Thread

    Just got the car back after doing the TSB. They said most of what I was feeling was not so much the pre TSB problems, but very loose mainshaft gears. Not done breaking it in, but so good its still a ton better than before. Ill give another update when its broken in.

    Yah, it would only see track once in a while at most. Plus I've seen plenty of stock clutches last for quite a while with power adders even.

    Yah i'll try the clutchless shifting, the clutch engages fully and high in the pedals motion. I got the clutch adjuster cause i hated having the floor the clutch every time i wanted to shift.

    When shifting from 3rd to 4th quickly it feels like I hit a wall in neutral and it wont go into 4th. However, after it (the shifter) hits the wall and stops, i can pull it into 4th normal. It shifts fine when shifting really slow, but it wont go from 3rd to 4th quickly, anyone know what problem...

    Your front control arms are probably bad. I had mine replaced at 30,000 miles with new ford control arms from ford. They changed the design on them. Mine were replaced under warranty and the guy said mine were in pretty bad shape. The TSB on them is one the the following I believe. 17506...

    I lowered my car with nothing but Eibach Pro-Kit. I didn't do an alignment and my tires are wearing fine. I say just get the springs for now and save your money.     Spring replacement

    I have the pro kit and I never had to use a spring compressor or remove the rotor. Its pretty easy to do really. make sure you install them the right way and and the coil is rotated so it fits right.

    Tuner worth it?

    Get the tuner, I suggest going to a local tuner also. If you get the tuner you can sell the MIL's and the speed cal to regain some of your money because the tuner will replace them.

    I have a friend who has been running 10 psi for the last year and he makes sure he beats on the car alot and it has held up fine. He is using the stock internals with nothing else but exhaust and gears. Get a custom tune for your car at a local dyno and dont look back.
