    Used oil smells like sulphur

    I changed the oil in my 05 GT Sunday. The old oil, Motorcraft Synthetic blend, was in the car for 6 months over the winter and only 500 miles of driving, had a strong sulphur smell. Is this normal or should I be concerned? The oil was very clean looking. The car has 26K miles. Thanks...

    For daily drivers, maybe the thing to do is just not bother them for 100K and budget for a major repair or upgrades at that time. If they come out OK, you win with "mod money" in the bank. If they don't and you have the funds for anticipated repairs/improvements, you still come out ok.

    I think shaker hood (or is it shakey hood) is standard on these cars. The shaker scoop is extra. :rlaugh: I hope you enjoy your car as much as the rest of us do. Very nice car.
