    My mechanical Autogage oil psi gauge came with a plastic line. I promptly tossed it into the trash and used the $8 dollar Autometer copper line kit. That is the cure to your concerns. :nice: Go to www.summitracing.com and search this pn: ATM-3224 It's $9.00 now.

    certain combo's could pass the sniff test without cats. Emissions is mostly about efficency. However almost everywhere requires the cats to be present for the visual portion of the test.

    You can leave them off but it defeats half the purpose of the shifter. They are what prevent over shifting and bending/breaking shift forks.

    Unless my sources are incorrect, Mod motors don't have smog pumps. 5.0's had them in the Mustangs and some F150's.

    Power is all about processing air and fuel. The LS1 has a killer set of heads and intake. Flow something like 270ish cfm from the factory. CNC ported is like 300cfm. If you had serious flowing heads and an intake that could support that flow and cammed it correctly, you could have those...
