Any Upstate NY Emissions Inspectors Here?

Any Upstate NY emissions inspectors on here? I have a question? About the visual portion of an inspection for a OBDII car (96+).

What is the visual requirement for catalytic convertors? My '98, stock, has liek 4 convertors and 2 pre heaters. I'd like to put a catted Magnaflow X-pipe on it, but don't know if it 'll pass the visual test.

You should not have a problem with the magnaflow x-pipe as far as visual goes. I'm upstate as well and this the second time I passed with my magnaflow x. I used to live in the nyc metro area where visual and emmisions requirements are pretty stringent and passed the first year on visual and sniffer with my Magnaflow x pipe.
