    Rear end trouble

He has a 68... He is also converting from a 6cyl to a V8 setup and the rear end and new springs are for a V-8. This might be why the position of the centering pegs looks off, or it could be the angle of the camera.

I’m in the process of rebuilding my manual drum brake master cylinder. I purchased the rebuild kit from NPD but the brass fittings where the brake lines bolt up are different. I called them to verify that I had ordered the correct kit and its what is listed for my car. They said that they have...

markVIII radiator and fan in classic

To use the fan in my 93 I did have to shave off about 1/2in around the MK8 fan shroud. I have an extra MK8 shroud that I eyeballed to see how well it would fit on the stock radiator in my 67. The width is fine its the radiator hose inlet/outlet that get in the way. It looks like you could cut...

    Creating A Custom Headliner, Help!

There was an article in one of the hot rod magazines a while back that did a custom headliner for a 67/68 fastback. The used the roof as a rough mold for the fiberglass shape and had to massage it a bit for it to work. It sounded good in theory but the factory headliner looked better. Just my .02

markVIII radiator and fan in classic

Correct me if im wrong but from those pictures it looks like the overflow tank is a sealed system. Im not seeing a provision for a traditional cap on the radiator.

What was the purpose of the "dual range" function on the early C-4 Transmission

What was the purpose of the "dual range" function on the early C-4 Transmission

In the beginning, the C4 was a dual-range automatic transmission, meaning you could drive it in two individual ranges depending on driving conditions. For most with '65-'66 Mustangs, that means driving on the little dot or the big dot on the transmission selector-big dot for normal driving and...

    latemodel 302 in 66?

You can only use a 1985 distributor. The 1984 and earlier blocks were not roller blocks so the gear on the distributor is different and is not compatible.

Front Drum to Disc Conversion Questions?
