    I am looking to convert to 5 lug so with that being said..... If I wanted to rebuld the rear end and keep the same gears would I have to check for back lash and other things? I want to replace the bearings on the third member and in the pinion gear. I also want to rebuild the trac-lok maybe...

    If I recall correctly the bumper on my Capri is thicker and looks to me to be much of a more complete bumper. Like the front the aero stangs have that plastic thing they call a bumber while my Capri has a metal bumper. Maybe getting a 79-86 rear bumper from a Stang or Capri would help the ass...

    The RS style rocks, the onw that covers the vents or some call it the reverse facing one..... and as for water well I always open the hood to let the water drain and to dry the inside around the fenders and front lights so.... its a push i guess!

    :lol: +1 I own an 82 Capri since 8-01-82 and would never think about butchering it. A Capri is a Capri not a Mustang. With that being said I also own 86 and 93 Mustangs and would do nothing to change them either.... I could have bought a 82 GT, if the sales guy wasnt an ass I would have...

    Hood opinions/pics

    Steel 2.5" cowl hood.. clean, simple and makes a statement.. The Fox stang has hard lines and straight edge bends. The curvey lines of the cobra r and other hood makes for a car with too much going on....
