    Which tranny to get???

    I am torn between the TKO-600 and the T56. I need a tough tranny that can take the pounding of the track but still be great on the street. I will not go to an A/T set up, it has to stay manual. I have read up on both and they both get rave reviews. Anyone out there with either one that...

    Fyi For those from the north country....we will be meeting at the Woburn Mall at 3:30pm and leaving promptly at 3:45 to make it down to Spike's by 5pm. So make sure you gas up before you leave home. See ya Sunday :nice:

    I'm going...running true street this year. My motor is too tired for mod motor class I was in last year. That and I hate switching back and forth between the pro tree and the 5.0 tree. It messes me up when all we can do on street night is practice the the 5.0 tree.

    Yeah I've seen the Cobra floating around. There is also a silver 02 GT with a vanity plate that parks at building 3. I saw your 93 earlier this week too. I figured it belonged to you when the 03 was absent from the lot that day... :)

    Guilty as charged!!! I worked in building 16 at NEEP. Mine is the 99 Atlantic Blue GT. I am always backed into my space. You can't miss the tag - it says OBEY. You need to bring that fine machine down to the A&W on Sunday.

    How much stock, like show room floor??? The only mod I had at the time were 4.10's & my 99 GT's first dyno numbers were 226.75 RWHP & 265.20 RWTQ.

    T-45 fluid Qs

    Alldata DIY website sez the Syncromesh from GM should only be used in the 3650, not recommended for the T45. Royal Purple is the only way to go. Worth the $$$$.
