    Get the Comp Cams XE270HR.....operating range of 1800-5800....pretty much exactly what you're looking for. I have that cam and I like it a lot.

    Camshaft is the main difference.....that's what changes the firing order. The motor doesn't have to be roller since the 84 H.O. wasn't roller and it didn't have forged pistons either......I believe it's just the camshaft.

    Actually a lot of aftermarket rads already have a tranny cooler inside them....they just come that way. Take a look at your water pump, thermostat, etc...I bet one of those is the root of your problem.

    Nothing wrong with putting a 114 LSA cam in a computer controlled car. Much better driveability.

I work as a tire technician and when people are up in my face, it really makes me mad.....although if the person is respectable I don't mind them watching at all. As for the original poster's case, the guy driving his car was obviously wrong...

    Maybe the differential doesn't have friction modifier in it.....which is required for trac-lok differentials.

    If it was mine I'd get 245/45/17 on the front and 275/40/17 on the back......both of those sizes are stock overall diameter. For those that don't know, the second number in the sizing is the percentage of the first number.....meaning on a 245/45/17, the sidewall height is 45% of 245 mm.

    Well they're meant to not go above 6500 rpm.......So they may or may not fail, but I personally wouldn't take the chance.:shrug:

    If the lifters are stock (even new stock replacement), don't use them.....get something meant for high rpm.

    Don't the regular iron GT-40 heads have 3 lines? I thought the "P" heads had 4 lines.
