    Mine is doing the same thing. Mines the tailshaft bushing. You can take your had close to the yoke on the driveshaft near the trans, and move it up and down about a 1/8th of a inch...My trans gears are all crying and the throw out bearing is going bad so I am kinda waiting for it to fall out...

    Well I ran a 13.4 at a 100mph with a 1.88 60ft. This was on nitto drag radials with the car weighing about 50lbs more and without the cobra intake manifold.

    There is a brace or bracket on the back of the intake you need to take loose its kind of a pain and doesn't need to go back.

    you can get a rebuilt t-5 for 700 dollors from here Rebuilt manual transmissions,M5R1,M5R2,T5,AX5,NV4500 there are alot of places that have them ready to go for cheaper you just got to look around

    Ford has discontinued the driveshaft yoke that goes to the transmission....what other yokes out there are a direct swap. If there are none where can I get one besides a junkyard? Thanks Jason

    Need tailshaft bushing puller charlotte nc

    Does anyone have a tailshaft bushing puller that I could borrow or rent that will fit a t-5 or t-56 transmission. There is no one I can get ahold of that has this tool. I would like to do it myself but would rather not have to pull the whole tailshaft off to do it. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

    Update: Got the driveshaft balanced turned out I didn't put the yoke back in the right way it was 180* out of wack. Anyway had it balanced and everything is back like it was before the u-joint install. He also said that the tailshaft bushing is going out due to the scoring on the yoke. I...

    No word yet, no one is open on new years day...but hopefully tommorow. My boss got his driveshaft shortened and balanced for 40 dollors about 3 years ago so I am going to the place that did his, I will update yall. Thanks for the replys

    anyone heard of clocking the driveshaft 180* to fix a vibration if so what does that mean?
