What would cause smoke from ebrake (No start)

Raise the car and have a look, although I cant think of anything electrical under the car in that area.. if the cable is conducting electricity from somewhere I would look in the area of the fuel pump power leads... Only thing I can think of thats back there in any waybut the short point would...

Need help, nut in oil pan

I wouldn't worry about it at all. Won't go through the pickup screen, and probably sunk down in the muck thats at the bottom of almost every pan. I worked on tank engines during my time in the army, and found wrenches, pocket knives, c-ration can lids, all kinds of crap in oil pans that had been...

Why is powerdyne so much cheaper?

wrong/blower turbo is not the point. 14 psi at the out flow of the power adder is 14 psi. Period. you take pump of choice Turbo/roots/cetrifugal/cambell hausfield, and attach them to a plenum, with a constricted outflow, and spin them all untill they presurize the plenum to 14psi, and the...

Lots of people don't have "real world results" on their mods.. I put on my CAI and O/R H-pipe and Cat back all at the same time.. No real world results... but I can definatly feel it pull better, sounds WAY better and I like it better, so... it's good by me. My car has never been, nor will it...

Anyone have any links for installing a AFPR and a Fuel Pump? Couple other ?'s also...

The shrader valve looks like the thing that you put air in your tires with (known as a "shrader" valve as opposed to "presta" valve). It's on the fuel supply line, near the front of the engine, on top, just before the line attaches to the rail, passenger side.

    H Pipe question.

the hose you will need is 3/4" ID. I used a piece of hydraulic hose on mine, (to hook it up), not to block it off. You can't bend that stuff, so heater hose would work.

Why is powerdyne so much cheaper?

Street driven turbos are not rare at all. not a whole lot of 5.0's out there with them, but that doesn't make them rare. Turbo's are a proven tech that is used all around the world, with great results. Go to europe and almost every boosted car has a turbo. And they don't have issues, and 10...

dang PS pump again, sorry bout the repeat post guys

I made a couple of stabs at doing it without a puller. Could't do it. Went to O'riellys, A-zone has 'em too, about $15 if I remember right. You will need it more than you think if you are going to do much messin' around under the hood.

    Steering and Carb Questions...

$700!!! jeez, run away from that shop!! Look, after core, a rebuilt rack is about $150 from O'riellys down the street. You should flush the P/S pump while you are at it, so you need fluid. The hardest part of the whole change is getting the little teflon O rings on the lines. Easy as pie to do...

    Need TROUBLEshooting help on fuel/ignition

If you check the timing, and its at 10-14 degrees, then the distributor is in correctly. if it's way off / not on the scale, it's wrong. Did you pull the wires off the cap? are they all seated and in the right firing order for your cam? Not sure if you can mess up the injector wireing, never...

    COBRA MASTER CYLINDER

You could do that, as far as I can tell it won't make much of a difference. I just put Cobra brakes on my GT with the factory master cylinder and booster, seems to work fine. Stops great, and pedal feel is excelent. Have you changed out your hoses? When I was researching what I wanted to do to...
