    It might be an exhaust leak from the EGR. That would emit a very loud noise.

    If you can find the leak, hit the auto parts store and see if you can match up a cap to it.

    I have used one and it did work fine. Drew down to whatever the spec called for but the compressor had to run the entire time (33 gal 5 HP). You could try it or do what I did the second time and find a shop that will draw a vac for you.

    I'd start with about 1/3 coil and see what that gives you. It is pretty easy to cut them.

    Sounds like you may still be under warranty and if so, take it to a dealer. Otherwise, you will need to have a shop r&r the windshield.

    I installed one in an open rear so I cannot help. However, I'd call Summit's tech line (not the 800#) and ask them. It is a strong unit that is 100% posi in straight lines.

    I have a predator that I am pretty happy with but the new SCT seems to have some advantages - one part number for all Ford vehicles and I think you can store more than one tune on it (predator is supposed to allow that soon).

    Extended oil change and loss of power?

    If you extend your changes, you should still change the filter every 3K. I've extened mine (Royal Purple & Pure One Filt) to 10K and had the oil anaylzed with good results - said keep driving.

    standalone wideband

    Things happend so fast, you would not get an accurate read by someone looking at it while you are winding the engine up so fast. Peaks and dips happen so quick, you'd never see them w/ out datalogging.
