    Electrical ECU part (eprom?) damaged by capacitor help

    I would say unidirectional. It looks like there is a pin1 dot on the part which corresponds to the square pad on the PCB. That tells me there is polarity with that part.

    Fox Brakes and Anti Seize..

    I have been using a small amount of anti-seize on the ends of my brake pads and slide pins for years. I also put a small amount on the nubs for the brake shoes on the drum brakes.

    I assume your car has an automatic transmission? The cable and solenoid is for the transmission shifter safety thing. They make you push the brake down before you can shift it out of park.

    We had high 90 temps here in Oregon on Monday and Tuesday. I drove my saleen both days to work. My AC ran between 38-42. I decided I am going to stay R12 on my 89 GT when the time comes as it works good on my 86. Your car is looking sharp. Hope you can get it to some shows this summer.
