    I believe there are plastic pins holding the heatshield in place but don't want to start pulling/pushing/twisting things untill I know what I'm doing. :shrug:

    3.73 gears installed today but speedometer

    The car pulls alot stronger in 3rd & 4th gears but I really haven't put the pedal to the metal since I only have 300 miles on the car. Just putting all of the peices in place for the KB 9psi supercharger in a couple of months. :hail2:

    Kenne Bell and Octane question

    :) Go to the Kenne Bell site and at the very end of the tech section for the 4.6 they have a chart which shows the octane needed for the non intercooled & intercooled Kenne Bell superchargers at various boost levels. I believe it shows 92-94 octane for the intercooled with 9 lb boost.

    Have purchased Ford Racing 3:73 gears ($139) and made arrangements for a local shop to install them ($200). My question is will they they need an install kit or new gaskets in addition to the new gears? :shrug:
