    How much power can a 7.5 take?

    I need a new axle for my 67, I want to put an 8.8 in but being a college student I dont have that kind of money. How much power will a 7.5 take? I can get a cheap one with discs on it, I dont plan on doing any racing, its going behind a very mildly modded 289 with a 92 t5 in it. Let me know thanks.

    only heavey duty applications like the trucks use a 31 spline axle. Mustang 8.8 uses a 28 spline axle

    I will probably put mustang steves 13'' disc conversion in the future. So I'm guessing I'll go with the sn95 setup. I do like the prices of the fox setup better however.
