    i faced the same problem,,,if the lock set & actuators are old, they'll go dead one by one i changed the lock set, and then the actuators gone dead, so i replaced them as well.. its better to get new ones the lock set e'll cost you around 105$ full set, 2 doors & trunk, the actuators e'll cost...

    i know a guy that could hook me up with a 4.10, and i'll go 1/4 with less then half a tank,no rear seats, no trunk load, i'll remove the eng. belt for the race the fan could save me for 10min or so... you think that'll work? :scratch:

    i dont know yet, i have to meet the guy on saturday, the race should be on next wednesday... i only have my old motor and trans. both are stock, and clean, good for a project.. i'll offer that and see what he says.. :shrug:

    yeah!! i think i'll service the motor, an go for a dyno, and i'll go pick on an LS1, just to make sure.... yes i have torque converter on, i had the trans. from a shop that works only on gears, and had it done so sweet... i'v always feared LS1's, thats why am freaked out of this guy...

    i wasnt clear on the Charger issue, the LS1 guy has a vortech intake/charge for the 5.0, i think he had a fox before he got this LS1, if i win i get the charger and the Vortech-intake, no nitrous no chargers, he has a stock motor with some mods on... :bang:

    yeah,,,Roland69 a V6 92-95 or so honda prelude, that shows off every time he spots me around the track revs like hell.. and the AOD OEM shortshifting is true, its the only way to force the 2nd gear to hold up for more RPM, otherwise it goes to 3ed too early.... and its very cool, you do it...
