how do you catch up with 98 LS1???

what does it take to kill an LS1?, here's what i have on my 92 LX Notch:

GT40 upper lower intake
24lb, injectors
188/ fuel pump
65 BBk TB
Custom headers, custom X-Pipe
Flowmaster catbacks
Racing clutch, FMS ShiftKit, Light weight drive shaft, 3.55, Tourque converter, on AOD.
FMS lowring kit

Engine got swapped three months back to a used 302....

:bang: the guy that had this motor before got a b303 cam and the GT40 MF 24lb setup on this motor, whith lots of problems, so i got the 188/pump and 65 TB, fuel problems are solved and i got more power, now the LS1 made a deal, he has a vortech intake and charger if i beat em no nitrous, the charger and intake are mine..... and i want that charger so bad!!!!! :bang:
 
Or be like Numbles (sorry if that is incorrect spelling) and put an LS1/T-56 in your Mustang.

Honestly, a H/C/I swap should really make the car a lot more interesting to drive instead of only on the Juice. I would vote for the H/C/I and then add a nice supercharger on there for assurance.

i wasnt clear on the Charger issue, the LS1 guy has a vortech intake/charge for the 5.0, i think he had a fox before he got this LS1, if i win i get the charger and the Vortech-intake, no nitrous no chargers, he has a stock motor with some mods on...

yeah!! i think i'll service the motor, an go for a dyno, and i'll go pick on an LS1, just to make sure....
yes i have torque converter on, i had the trans. from a shop that works only on gears, and had it done so sweet...
i'v always feared LS1's, thats why am freaked out of this guy...
