    sounds good I'm gonna remove it and re install it to try and fix the problem. Do you thinki should use therubber gaskets in the front and rear of the intake. People are telling me to just use a fat bead of rtv silicon.

    I'm gonna work on it tommorow trying all the methods everyone has told me. To see if it helps. Wow you guys are the best. All of the info you all have given me has helped soo much. Thanks to all of you. I'll let you all know how it goes tommorow.

    so i have to remove the intake and reinstall new gaskets? I used fel pro gaskets and i used the to rubber ones for the front and rear.

    How do i burp the system? The upper radiator hose doesn't fell hard of doesn't feel like it has pressure under it. I turned it on this morning and noticed it was leaking in the back of the motor. I checked the heater lines to make sure they were secure. What other area could it be leaking...

    no smoke out of the tail pipes but i can smell coolent while driving. If there is air in the system will it kick it out of the overflow tank.

    I just took it for a good drive on the freeway it did great. However on the street it started to overheat again. I got hot and checked the coolant level and it droped drasticly. So i'm assuming i have a coolant leak. Now my question is what part of the cooling system could i have messed up...

    No my coolent level isn't dropping. I have stock heads on the car. I just don't get it when i drive normally its fine but when i floor it it starts to overheat. Do you think I could have a cracked head?

    No i'm sure that i put it in correctly . And i know there is coolent going to the engine because i removed the heater hoses buy the firewall to make sure it was getting water.
