    If it was indeed made of steel, it wouldn't flex at all. The outers are steel braid, the insides are almost always teflon. Stoptech makes the lines for MM, and I wouldn't run anything else.

    Enough talk about the bolting in deal, honestly if you're looking for GOOD connectors, you really should only be looking at 3 places, or fabbing your own. And none of those places have bolt in connectors (Griggs, MM, GW).

    Go ahead and bolt them in, but get them welded in as soon as you can. Its much better than nothing at all. I personally would not buy the connectors you listed. For one, its only 14 ga steel, which in my opinion is too thin. Besides, I wouldn't trust a company that uses "ga" to advertise...

    Just an fyi for anyone reading. With the 40" bar, the lateral displacement of the axle with 2" of vertical movement either way would be .05". Thats pretty damn good...

    Do I have my alternator wired correcty?

    As long as the solid yellow wire, and yellow/black wire are both going to the right places on the regulator, it looks correct. Sorry, I don't know too much about the regulator's function and effect upon the alternator charging, but perhaps that would be something to look into as well.
