    it won't be the same for everyone; just try different settings and keep driving it till you get it where you want it to be. it will probably have to be higher than 650 in D with that F cam though.

    i never noticed until i looked at other cars, but when my timing is advanced 13* my TFI is almost touching the radiator hose. the distributor is not a tooth (or more) off. is this normal? on both my friends cars they are not nearly that close to the hose. any ideas?

    how bad is the vibration? mild, or gravel road at 60? if it the vibration is too bad i would have it rebalanced, or maybe replace it with an Aluminum one. too much vibration can put stress on drivetrain components.
