    I'd say 60k is about right.. my 96GT's clutch would slip when it got around that mileage.. replaced it with a king cobra. I'd say wait until you actually notice it slipping though. Chris

    If you're going to modify your car, why not go all out? I've had bad experiences with warranties which is why I say screw it, but you may feel differently. Personally i'd find a used cobra engine.. you might get lucky and score one for cheap.

    I think my rotors are warped, and i'm in need of new pads, so i was thinking i might upgrade the rotors/calipers or something along those lines. anyone have any suggestions or advice? Slotted/cross drilled, etc? I have 16" rims, don't know if that matters. Thanks Chris

    all i know is that ford has alot riding on the new mustang; if they mess up, which i hope they don't, then ford is going to go under... their stocks have been dropping really bad, this is the only thing thats going to pull them out (huge recalls don't help either)
