    bad plug wires..wich ones to get ???

    fms wires.hard to beat $40 plus they're # so you know where they go.my wires don't shock me,wires can be bad without cracks in them.i've seen wires cracked before and not shock you,it doesn't prove anything.

    crooked steering wheel

    there are plenty of impact absorbing columns that are splined,just not mustangs,not my 88 anyway.it sounds like the wheel wasn't straight when it was aligned.you just need another alignment and be sure to tell them the wheel isn't straight is why you want it aligned.

    Power difference in HO and non.

    yeah the power difference does suck.i've got a non-ho out of a 90 grand marquis in my 88.it had a roller cam but used the non-ho firing order. i've had to do all kinds of mods to it to get it to run like a near stock 5.0.i was in a bind and needed a motor quick and was all i could find.

    check your wiper interval govenor under the steering column.it makes wipers do alot of off the wall things.

    loose pushrods

    pull the pushrods out and see it the ends are worn down.my motor wears the pushrods out every few thousand miles because of a worn out motor.if you add shims then the problem would be worse.i tried replacing the rocker arms but it didn't help.

    if you tighten the pressure plate down the fingers are supposed to go in.if it doesn't then something is really wrong.did you put the disc in backwards?the raised side of the disc goes into the pressure plate.
