    i have no thermostat in mine and it does take about 10-15mins to warm up but when i does it hits right in the middle maybe even a little past the middle

    idk i only checked the one bc i was checking the sparkplug to see if it was bad bc the motor is spitting at wot. its a 97 gt w/ fresh motor odometer is broken but its had about one tank of gas threw it.

    thats why i was asking bc i only have enough to buy the nx kit or get it tuned. if i can run a 100shot then thats what i want to do, but if its going to blow something up i would rather get a good tune and it run a little better and faster and not blow up...normally the plan is to not blow...

    its at about 163psi. when i checked it with the old motor it was at 110-120psi. is this bad or good

    how do i retard the timing? i wont blow anything up with 100shot? i have o/r hpipe, bbk shortys, k&n filter, 24lbs injectors, the compresion is raised to about 10:1 with a 5 angle valve job with slight porting on the intake side.

    my 97 ran 14.6 stock even with the auto the extra hp should atleast make up the diff. how many miles are on the car. maybe you tranny is shot

    im looking for another upgrade and i was wondering if i was to get a wet nitrous kit do i need to get the car tuned? i dnt have the cash to do both. so its one or the other. wich one would should i get?

    idk about the cobra, and yes there the same. mine is a 99 mustang block with i think markvIII pistons with nonpi heads.

    i got a little over 100,000miles out of mine but it blew bc it liquid locked. youll get raised compresion from the pi heads. while you have the motor out i would rebuild it or look around for a short or long block rebuilt. i got my long block for a lil under $400, look on craigslist

    on a npi it should put it at about 10:1 maybe a little more like 10.2:1

    i would get mark8 pistons w/ the pi head will put it around 11 or 11.2:1 compression. do the heads and intake manifold. there is a article about a 4.6 carb w/ the eddlebrock manifold on it. made 396 at the crank im sure with the extra attmosphere should add 20 or 30hp its in hot rod

    look at last months hotrod mag. the artical "junk yard 4.6 jewel" with a pi head swap on a 98 crown vic w/ 120k miles that intake w/ holly 650 and lt's it made 378hp and w/ a carb spacer it made 396hp. you cant tell me your gonna make that with the stock setup

    i saw this new intake manifold to carburate your 4.6 it says that just the intake and carb made like 70hp. now on summit the operating rang starts at 3500. would this be a good choice for a street/strip car? either way it sounds badas
