    got a new intake plaque. help sanding and painting.

    I used on my 5.0 HO intake plaque was my handy rotory tool and a nice wire wheel it stripped off all the old paint and took off the oxidation ! looked polished and clean then I painted the recessed areas with high temp ford Blue engine paint !

    I bought a set of cloth SN95 seats and after a lot of scrubbing I just cant get them as clean as I would like! Has anyone bought a good set of seatcovers that stay in place and have a good fit ???

    I picked up a set of cloth SN95 seats and after scrubbing the crap out of thme they still dont look all that great. So I was wondering first, whats the best seat covers for the price to get that arent $700 bucks and if I do get the covers How the heck do you get the head rests off the seat ???

    I happen to favor MGW as well I bought the Pony T handle version and I love the thing except for one little thing ......... Man does that thing get hot in summer !! I had to take one of my mustang hats and throw it over it in while its parked in the sun!

    I agree that's what I did with mine due to cost and quality of resto parts ! I pulled the cowl grille, Wiper arms , antenna, and antenna mount cover shot them all with a $6.00 can of paint bolt them back up good as new and Better then Resto ! Only resto parts I have bought and put on my 92 GT...

    Yeah Its a GT !! My '92 title list gt/cobra but as we all know it not a cobra unless it is a Canadian car or '93 . When I first bought mine I thought maybe it was a Cobra .... but IT WASNT !!

    Help ! Headlight stud broke

    Thanks for the info !! I been working at it all night with a set of vise grips on the stud end and a wrench on the nut but crappy set of vise grips keeps slipping soo ... I left it for the night let the wd40 work and head to the tool store for a new Better set of vise grips tomorrow :nice:

    Help ! Headlight stud broke

    I was changing out my headlights tonight and 3 of the studs for the headlight broke out of the housing for the old ones as I was taking them off. Now I can't get the studs with the nuts off nothing to grab old base. If you guys can give me any help or info on this please !
