I was changing out my headlights tonight and 3 of the studs for the headlight broke out of the housing for the old ones as I was taking them off. Now I can't get the studs with the nuts off nothing to grab old base. If you guys can give me any help or info on this please !

first post?

i would grab the stud with a pair of vise grips if you can get one in there and then use the open end wrench to get the bot off...if you can do that...move the wires out of the way and get the saw out!

Thanks for the info !! I been working at it all night with a set of vise grips on the stud end and a wrench on the nut but crappy set of vise grips keeps slipping soo ... I left it for the night let the wd40 work and head to the tool store for a new Better set of vise grips tomorrow :nice:
