Electrical what 3g alternator to use?

94-95GT Mustang or 3.8L Thunderbird. If your looking for the standard 130 amp that is. Which in most applications, would be enough. I run an electric fan, Amp with full components (no subs), gauges, with all lights on and volt doesn't budge and headlights don't go dim at all, even with AC on.

Wanna change the color on my 93 suggestions?

I am not much of a "blue" car color guy, but if I had to chose, I would go with a Sonic Blue in a heartbeat. The Honda Civic SI (I know its a Honduh) Sonic Blue paint has always been a favorite of mine. Here are some paint codes and colors based on the years so you can see for yourself. Super...

What are you excited about for your fox?

I am excited to get my rear U&L control arms and subframe connectors on, then taking it to the track and seeing what I can run before I do anything major for next year.

    Question about Paint

I am not a complete body guy, but you want to make sure there are no pits or flaws in anything your painting. Sanding, prepping and using the correct filler is always needed before prime. Body guys, correct me if I am wrong lol.

Engine Weird noise when pounding the gas.

I can almost guarantee something is dragging against your tailshaft. Hence why the car doesn't make this noise moving, or in neutral. What I would do, put blocks infront and behind the front tires, lift the rear on jackstands, put the car in drive and see if you can hear it then. If you can, you...

    Question about Paint

Yep and if you like it, leave it. You never know until its done. My buddy LOVED his and the quality was great. Another friend of mine uses a different gun on his, said he likes it better than the one Plasti-dip sells. I will get the name of it if you want.

    Question about Paint

I am looking to do an off while with satin black on my car. I plan on using pasti-dip instead of painting. Won't cost much and its durable. Not only that, you can peal it off if you don't like it. A buddy of mine had it on his BMW, never chipped once in over a year. Power washed it and all.

    Bumper cover rivet replacement

Sure, the bumper fastens to the fenders, but the fenders aren't a huge support on holding the front clip on. The fenders help hold the outside of the bumper in place and flush with the car. What I was trying to say, is there isn't much force at that point of contact. Most of the weight/force of...

    Bumper cover rivet replacement

Isn't that the truth lol Rivet gun only runs from $15-25. Not bad for the price, and definitely cheaper than replacing or fixing your bumper when one or more than one of those pins become faulty. $15.99 for rivets off of Late Model Restoration if your body shop doesn't have any you can buy...

    Bumper cover rivet replacement

These push pins allow movement. Something rivets don't allow. You have to remember, our front bumper cover is only secured to the header panel. There isn't any other body panels holding them in place (IE Fenders) like the newer vehicles. Also if you were to end up doing the rivets, don't use...

    Bumper cover rivet replacement

Nothing better than using rivets in my opinion. You can get a hand held manual gun, or an air gun. Just my two cents :)

    Strange engine noise?

That ended up being my problem after getting rid of the clutch fan, replacing with an electric fan. I kind of knew it wasn't the issue, but it was my way of convincing my other half that I needed to change to an electric fan :)

Rear Main/Pilot Bearing Electric Fan Install

The screw in the rear main doesn't work. I tried and I tried and I tried. Doing it this way, took 5 minutes, if that. Just be VERY careful you don't slip and nic the crank or anything around it for that matter. Make sure everything is smooth, no notches before placing the new one in and use...

Rear Main/Pilot Bearing Electric Fan Install

There is one dowel pin. I misplaced the new ones I got with the kit, which frustrated me, and after I put the car together, I found them on a table towards my bathroom. I guess I set them down when I went to use it lol. My old flywheel had one it in, so I punched it out and put it in my new one.

    Engine Electric Fan Swap Questions

I went with the ProForm from LMR. The fan has been great so far, and I know of a friend who runs this on a 347 with no issues. Been good for him for over a year now. Cheaper kit, keeps the engine where its suppose to be, and comes with everything you need. Pretty simple install too. Wiring can...
