You mean Fox Mustang Magazine? If so, yeah they went to a bi-monthly format.

Dart based 363 - AFR 205 heads, custom cam by Cam Motion, Holley Systemax intake, 75mm TB, etc. Every part new or like-new.
Mass air conversion
3G alternator upgrade
Brand new tranny - Tremec TKO 600
Freshly build 8.8 rearend - 31-spline Auburn Diff., 31-spline 5-lug Moser axles(still need to order), FRPP 3.73 gear, UPR girdle/cover
5-lug conversion with Cobra front brakes(will do rear disc later)

I havent worked on mine in a lonnnnngggg time. But im finally installing a Flaming River Manual Steering shaft. Old one is real sloppy, and had lots of left to right play. Be nice to have a stable steering wheel, will and not feel like Im driving a 1960s dump truck with a worn out gear box. LoL

Chrome Moly! Guess how much it cost to get this done......the interior was stripped out before the chassis guy got it....I started a thread about what this may cost about 2 months ago, consensus was that it would be about $4K........I paid less than that

Well that's $250 more than I was quoted for mild steel, so I'd say that's a pretty good deal

Bullitt347 it would be a good idea to get that cage NHRA certified before you put the interior in, if you're planning to race the car. That way it'll be easier to add the dash bar if they request it. I can't remember the rule on an 8.50 10-point either, but I thought that dash bar was supposed to be there.

im almost done with my budget windsor. i should have about 3k in it by the time its said and done. we are hoping mid 6s on motor in the 1/8th mile on pump gas, its a street car. we are also finishing up a buddys clevor. we would like to see 5.90s out of it, but it should go 6.20s pretty easily on motor.

Is getting certified a week from this Saturday.(Feb 2nd) No dash bar required. The guy who built the cage has done dozens of Fox Body cars this way and has had no issues with getting them certified. I appreciate the input tho.
