    delayed throttle response

    I have some issues that i do not know where to start looking for answers. First off i just finished my a2a intercooler project and now with the same tune that ran fine with out the ic it dies at lights and also has a delayed throttle response very noticable. Any suggestions or help would be great.

    For my lean bucking issues i played with hego bias and hego delay for the long tubes. Seemed to work well. Not sure on the idle issues mine seems to idle about 1400 when coming up to a light, When the vss see's no movment drops to 800.

    Does anyone know what the smallest size hole i can get away with for the bypass? I am in the process of making my KB a air to air intercooler and need to make provisions for the bypass.     Help with hesitation

    How old is the gas? I just worked on a car that never gets driven also. It had some of the same issues it turned out to be that the fuel filter was all broke down and plugged up (he said it is new 4 years old). I would definitly try to check fuel pressure. good luck:D

    Trying to up idle with Tweecer

    I don't believe you are at the limit of the iac. I wish i could help like i said i use different software. I know with my software and cbaza t4m0 computer there are many different things that can effect idle. Adders subtractors and so on.

    I am suprised to hear everyone say msd has a problem, I have had a set on the 67 for 5 or 6 years and a set on the 94 for about a year with no problems.

    Do you use cal-edit or BE as your tuning software?The only reason i ask i do not know about cal-edit at all. Also which computer are you running?

    Push rod length i thought that was the question. It is really not that difficult though. I had to shim my yella terra rockers by .10 with stock e7s and a e-cam. GOOD LUCK

    The proper way is use a dial indicator and check see how far the lifter compresses. I believe it is .30 or .35 thousandths. Someone else here will chime in and tell for sure. I have used a magnetic base and a cheap dial indicator put the engine to tdc on cylinder 1 losen the rockers off on...

    I don't know anything about the cam but if i had to guess i would point at the cam if you can check the preload it will tell alot.

    sounds fishy to me. I would start with checking the pre load of the lifter if it is less the .20 then check pushrod length. Just my thoughts.

    3.73 gear install

    I just pulled the whole rearend set it on two jack stands and went to town. I believe i found all the info i needed on the net. I did have to buy a cheap dial indicator and a magnetic stand (much cheaper than paying someone to do it). take your time its not bad. :D

    I wouldn't go any higher than 3.55's the KB likes lower end so why waste it with gears mine are stock with a full spool and it is great. Get a good clutch though :D
