    How many Miles on your 5.0 when you picked it up?

    Mine had 430 miles on it. I'm in Southern Indiana and the only car they could find (with all the options we wanted) was in Georgia. They had a 70 year old man drive it back, so I felt better about it... I'm at 1500 miles so far.

    Any '11-'12 GT replacement mufflers only?

    The axle back kits are pretty much a muffler and new tip. The axle back part is only a couple feet long. I bought the Roush axle back kit for mine, install was a breeze.

    2011 5.0GT exhaust

    I've got a 2011 5.0L (automatic) with the Roush axle back. I love it!! Its super quiet going down the highway with absolutely no drone (as quiet as stock at 70 mph)... and it will make the hair stand up on the back of your neck when you floor it. Install took about 30 minutes.... fit...

    9.5" wide rims with stock 235/50-18's? help!!

    Thanks for the advice! I'm going to keep the stockers on for a little while and see what happens. I just want to change them out so it doesn't look like everyone else's car. So far I've added a Roush axle back exhaust and MGP caliper covers (red).... I think I'll change the spoiler next. :D

    9.5" wide rims with stock 235/50-18's? help!!

    The problem isn't money... its just hard to justify buying rubber when I still have tits on the stock tires. A 20mm wider tire would look better, but that's less than an inch difference.... I may try to find some 8" or 8.5's instead.... decisions, decisions...

    I'm not super concerned with traction... the automatic behind the 5.0L really doesn't get crazy frying the tires anyways, but I don't want it to look goofy. Do you know how wide the stock rims are? And what size tire would look the best with the 9.5" rims? Thanks!!!

    I found a set of rims from the 2010 GT500 that I'm thinking about getting for my 2011 GT. They are 9.5" wide. Any problems with the stock rubber fitting (235/50-18's)? I only have 600 miles on the stock tires, so I don't want to spring for tires yet. Also, any clearance issues? Will...

    What Oil filter have you used

    I'm not anywhere close to an oil change yet, but I always use OEM filters on everything I own with Mobil 1. On my vehicles (all 5 of them!) I change the oil between 5-6K miles.... and never had a problem. 10K miles seems like a long time! I may not hit 10K in a year. :)

    2011 GT Auto Trans sluggish at times

    I haven't experienced any of those issues yet (only 500 miles), but the tranny does seem a little lazy for a car with 400+ horsepower. Question for those of you with a "tune"... does the tune make them shift faster or spin the tires when they hit 2nd gear? Or is there some sort of a shift...

    Who uses 87 octane with stock tune on the 5.0?

    My dealer told me the 5.0L will make right at 400 horse with 87 octane and 412 horse with high octane. They said I can run either of them... I'm going to stick with the cheap stuff since I doubt I can feel (or need) and extra 10 horse on the street. My car has 500 miles on it now and seems...
