    my latches are real tight on my 94. they don't make any noise. but the top was only down a few times in the first 8 years of the cars life.

    i looked into that a while back when my fan wasn't working and they are pretty spendy if you go through ford. I was actually considering pulling one from a junk yard. they only wanted $5 for it so if it didn't work i wouldn't be out any money. just a thought.

    that's good to know....i'd rather just replace the head unit. as long as it ends up sounding a lot better than the factory setup.

    my cd player started doing the same thing recently in my 94 GT, only it starts clicking when i put a cd in and won't stop or eject it sometimes. can't use it anymore. :nonono: i've always thought the mach system was incredibly weak, considering the number of speakers in the car. :notnice:

    General Maintenance…?

    thanks guys. new spark plugs, wires, a distributor cap, and rotor will be at the top of my list. are these things that someone with VERY little auto experience can do? how about the transmission, brake and power steering fluid change? i guess i should have ford do that.

    I bought my 94 mustang with 11,000mi 2.5 years ago, the only general maintenace I have done are oil changes, coolant change, K&N air filter. I now have 34,000mi on it and was wondering if there is anything else I should do for general maintenace? Spark plugs, wires, or anything else...
