    Color Change:Bright red?Vibrant red?

I don't think there is anything wrong with medium cabernet red either and it works well on your car.My project started with just considering repainting the titanium bottom which had ugly yellow showing through plus repairing a damaged rear bumper from an accident. I eventually concluded I should...

    Color Change:Bright red?Vibrant red?

I have decided to do a paint color change to a lighter/brighter red color. My vert is currently a two tone Medium cabernet red/titanium lower, black top.I am considering what Ford called Bright Red or possibly Vibrant Red.Is it my imagination or did Bright Red become darker/less bright in later...

    Magnaflow Exhaust

Just don't believe that you are buying stainless steel.I don't drive my car in the winter and the tailpipes have serious surface rust after one year.

How many of you have rear disc brakes?

It's not just the size of the rotors.I just completed my brake conversion.I found a big improvement going to the 1999-2004's 44.5 twin piston front calipers.I retained the ~11" (1994-2004) front rotors.I went with the 1994-2004 rear disk setup.I disagree with the suggestion that the stock...

    Q if you've done SN95 Brake Conversion

I've noticed that some guys also switch to '94 struts while others continue to use their '87-'93 struts. Why would you switch to the '94's?Any cons to going one way or the other? I hear the '94 axles are longer I wonder if they might cause rubbing or just not look right. Are they OK to use or...

    Q if you've done SN95 Brake Conversion

    power

Maybe you could use 24 lb injectors or maybe you could get away with an adj. fuel pressure regulator and turn up the pressure a bit.I would guesstimate power is probably around 265 to 270hp at the wheels.

    Q if you've done SN95 Brake Conversion

I am planning to change to 5 lug wheels and converting to 1994 front and rear brakes while I'm at it.While doing the front brakes,I have read about needing a .33 inch spacer between the spindle and the lock nut, otherwise it goes down too far.Is this because the ball joint is taller on the '94 or...

    estimated howmuch power?

Probably max.295rwhp if the cobra intake isn't ported. The condition of the bottom end of the engine also has an impact.

    Rear Control Arms

I 've done some reading on this with the input on this thread.Maximum Motorsports supposedly has a bushing design on the lower control arms that eliminates negative impact on ride and noise.Anybody with their setup with some feedback on accuracy of this?

    Rear Control Arms

I am eventually going to change out the tires to help improve traction. So the bushings in the control arms are typically polyurethane and that causes the ride to be stiffer;are there control arms that have softer (rubber?) bushings that still are an improvement over stock for traction?I am not...

    Rear Control Arms

It guess it would be efficient to change my upper and lower control arms while I am replacing my shocks (with OEM's) and replacing the spring isolators on the stock springs. However,I'm not sure I need them.My traction is crappy but that could be mostly due to the stock wheels/tires.I use the car...

    Spring isolators

Thanks for the input.Sounds like they don't affect ride quality compared to new rubber isolators and should last longer. So,I'll plan to get the polyurethane ones.

    302 camshaft

This is a Canadian thread so far;I'm from Brandon,MB.Low rpm power and a really lumpy idle usually don't go hand in hand.My Comp Cams 258 has a modest duration and 114 LCA (relatively wide) which gives it nice low end torque but also a smooth idle. It's operating range is roughly 1300-5300 rpm.A...

    Spring isolators

I am replacing my stock suspension with new Ford stock shocks/struts.I was also considering changing the spring isolators while I'm at it.The rubber Ford insolators are still available but I was considering the Energy Suspension ones which are made of polyurethane.A comfortable ride is important...
