    sylvania silvertars

I've got all Silverstars... headlights (9007), turn signals (3157), and foglights (880). I also got new headlights without the orange reflector and the crystal clear foglights. In the head on pic, I've only put a single crystal clear fog in so you can see the difference. You can also see the...

    Bullitt 18x9 and 18x10s - now tires

I'm running 265/35/18 and 285/35/18 Nitto NT555s and I love them. They've been great tires so far. Grip is excellent in wet or dry and they seem to be wearing very well... I've got about 6-7k on them now and they look new. Will be ~25k mile tires and probably more if I run them bald. :D The...

    Finally.. New Silverstar foglight?

I've found some things on the web that show a Silverstar 880 - 27W Foglight bulb that says it replaces the 893 and 899 bulbs that people had been using for our cars. I know they had been blowing almost monthly, so Sylvania pulled them. Anyone know anything about these 880 bulbs?

so.. where did you get you tires 18x9/18x10

265/285 looks perfect in my opinion... The definitely don't look too small on 18x9/10"s. Nittos do run a little large though so other brands could look too small I imagine. I would go any wider unless I supercharged and was going to run 315 DRs....

guys i just got rims, will these tire sizes be ok ?

285s on the back of mine and I love em... Nittos run a little wider than some brands though, so maybe 295 depending on which brand you go with.

    Steeda Springs/Tokico HP Combo

I've got the MRT suspension kit that comes with Steeda springs and the Tokicos... Ride is perfect to me. You can definitely feel the bumps in the road but its still pretty forgiving. A lot more in control than the stock suspension... especially when its got 63k miles on it... :notnice: No...

    Anyone use MRT suspension?

I'd hope so considering they ARE Steeda sport springs lol... they give the same drop and are the same exact color. Believe the part # is the same also. I love mine. Rides great, stays level in the corners, got rid of a lot of the brake drive/acceleration lift.

    Tri-Ax is here, what else

Most important tool you could ever imagine for installing a new shifter... a 2x4 about 2 feet long! I'm not joking either... The factory shifter can be incredibly tough to break loose, but with the 2x4 you can break it loose in 2 seconds with 1/10000th the effort. Just stick it down alongside...

30 psi of boost from a vortech supercharger..

lol... cobra killer is probably the only one even close to 30 lbs around here... he's somewhere right there. As far as what parts you need, everything... and I do mean EVERYTHING under the sun... probably multiples of a lot of drivetrain parts too. Car pretty much won't be streetable. People...

Help with my stang.. wanting to beat a Nissan 300ZX

Well... the 300Z is supposed to be a dog out of the hole... TT or not. So I imagine if you had gears /w all the usualy bolt-ons or gears and a headswap you should take him pretty easily so long as you don't roast the tires... so maybe some DRs too.

    2005 Mustang Spec's

Wow thats kind of risky man. I would NEVER go by anything like that from the internet before its actually released. I guarantee you that a lot of them will be wrong/changed. I'd only go by something that I got directly from Ford.

    Optimal Front Tire Sizes?

I spin way too much Need Some new Tires!!

Just nuts man... Still want to see your car. I'm probably moving to tampa in the next couple months. And BTW, you should be fine with 265 kumhos all the way around man... those things rock!

I spin way too much Need Some new Tires!!

Wow, everyone suggests 555Rs... only problem with that is he says he needs them for daily driving. I wouldn't go near the Rs or RIIs on a daily driver unless I had like 500rwhp and could afford to spend $500 on tires every 5-10k miles. BFGs are even worse... <5k miles from what I've usually...

Common problems with a 99+ GT???? Please Help.

Going on 70k with my 99. Got it with 36k on the clock and lets see... what have I replaced out of necessity... IAC valve (big shocker there), factory motorcraft battery... Factory platinum plugs... think that about covers it! I don't beat on it too bad and have no mechanical problems...
