    Ok guys i changed my mind I am going to go with 245/45/17 on a 8" wide rim fr the front and the back would be a 275/45/17 on a 9" rim sound good? Ohh dose anyone know about the deep dish i really like the way they look on the classic I have seen a few people have them they look really nice...

    :shrug: I found some nice bullett deep dish rims on sale for cheap but the sizes are 18" rim and a 9" wide the offset is 24mm would these fit? and would they be right under the lip? I have a 1967 mustang coupe and these are supose to go on the rear....

    I would changed then after the engine hits about 60k miles and if its been sitting for more then 3 years other then that there good in my book. I would recomend changing them after you change the heads or do a rebuild.

    I really dont know I had a shop put it together for me, I just got to start it up... HOw could I figer out the initial timing? I have a timeing ligh but dont know how to use it..:shrug:

    When you start smoking out the other end thats a good time to rebuild.. but it sounds like you just need a tune up..
