    Which headers to go with

Running stainless steel MAC LT headers with ceramic coating https://www.americanmuscle.com/mac-15-8-ceramic-long-tube-headers-9604-gt.html , new ford gaskets, and stage 8 locking fasteners. Good bang for buck and offers good clearance. LTs in my opinion give the best sound and best numbers...

New factory seats that fit 99-04

I upgraded to corbeau fx1’s. I like the snug fit for turning left and right. Don’t know if there are any readily interchangeable OEM options other than doing some sort of a custom rebuild of your current seats.

Talk to your dyno tuner and see if they have a preference for a type of MAF / recommendations for your fuel system based off your goals.

    Recommendations

That is a tons of things to get recommendations for. Everyone’s build is unique and should be tailored to your preferences and budget. The 1999-2004 mustang is lightweight and has a huge aftermarket for options. It is a great base, sounds great, and looks great. The 2004 GT model has the...

    I need a new clutch

Twin disc is a little more costly but totally worth it. Stock like pedal feel and tons of grip. I matched mine with an aluminum flywheel, new TB, new cable, etc. Drives great: https://www.americanmuscle.com/mcleod-rst-clutch-0110gt.html

Advice for upcoming supercharged New Edge build

IAC is just pressed/slipped on and secured with a clamp at every junction. I replaced the OEM with just an elbow and some tubing. For the PCV I have a tube coming from the passenger valve cover, around the back of the intake plenum, t’ed with the tube from the driver valve cover, and finishing...

Advice for upcoming supercharged New Edge build

T off the front works great (your yellow circle). My PCV is completely separate from the intake (T’ed valve cover lines => moroso catch => line to a breather in the passenger side fender)- advantage is simplicity, downside is that I loose the vacuum.

Do I have the upgraded intake manifold?

Looks like the stock 04 manifold. The 04 manifold is the best PI manifold. No reason to upgrade unless you start making major modifications. The shake could be a number of things: bad alignment, bad tires, worn bushings, worn shock/struts, and/or worn mounts. Make sure all the basic...

vortech cobra what to do next????

44lb injectors are “just enough” if you are looking to drop a pulley size or two. If I were you, I would go a little bigger to allow more future growth. All depends on your goals, I like aiming a little higher in case I want more (always a good problem). If you go with these 50lb injectors...

vortech cobra what to do next????

That fuel management unit needs to be taken out. Find out what your current injectors and fuel pump are so that you can see what you are starting with and what direction you want to go. Find a good local dyno tuner, determine your power goals, and make a decision on what type of cooling you...

    Camshaft help

I’d budget at least $2k. Expect a 20-30 rwhp gain after a good dyno tune. Take a look at modular head shop to compare prices and specs.

    Suspenion

Depends on backspacing of the wheels. My 9” and 10.5” rims don’t rub with a 1” drop all around. As you drop more the spacing of your particular wheels becomes more critical.

Modular motors respond very well to boost. Low boost is safe as long as you have a good dyno tune.

    Boost issues

You should be under vacuum when the throttle body is closed. Something is off on your gauge or setup.

    Daily driver miles??????

120k on my 04GT. Don’t see a reason to stop daily driving it. I refresh all the fluids on it at regular intervals, do all the maintenance, and every 3-4 years replace all the pertinent suspension bushings. Drives great.

Looking to make Real power without Forced Induction

Full exhaust (LT’s and midpipe of your choice) and a set of cams always sounds good. I ran full boltons for a while (LT’s, midpipe, cutback, intake, TB, intake plenum = 260rwhp) and then added cams to make 289rwhp. Full boltons had the best drivability (smooth like OEM but with more power)...

Looking to make Real power without Forced Induction

Trickflow heads (38cc), aggressive cams to match trickflow heads, headers, midpipe, bigger throttle body, and a tune can give you roughly 330 rwhp range on a stock block. Personally instead of the N/A route - for real power - I’d go with a supercharger, turbo, or nitrous. Better drivability...

    Help!! WHAT MODS FIRST?

I bought from summit because at the time several years ago American muscle didn’t have a polished tuner kit (polished looks much nicer than satin, $300 extra is worth it). Now American muscle has the polished tuner kit and for a better price than summit. Tuner kits come with this...
