    can't drive stick due to injuries in Iraq. If not I would so I have to stick with an automatic. Just trying to find a junkyard replacement better suited for street/strip use. I want to go the c4 route but I have no idea how to make one work:flag:

    So I went to the track on thursday(Irwindale 1/8) and was hitting 9.10@78 mph with an AOD. I was doing the AOD shuffle (yeah I know bad for the tranny) and it did fine up until today.     My AOD in my 86 decided to lose a couple of gears today 42 miles from home. I limped it home in first and second(took the streets).     Yeah the pistons are fine with the e7s as long as I don't change cams. Found the problem. One of my vaccum lines had a small hole in it now runs perfect. Thanks everybody:flag:

    seen it on drag radials and stock suspension. Basically(though I've never hung the front tires in my stang) it equates to traction and power. Somebody correct me if I am wrong. 600hp on a stock block?!? Take pics and post them after you split the block:flag:

    between 2800-3500 rpm it is just running really rich. At idle it runs a little rich but I ain't worried about it too much. I am just wondering what would cause it. I'll check fuel pressure this weekend. Thanks:flag:

    My 86 has E7s on it,bbk shorties, and an MSD coil. After I put the e7s on it started running rich. Any ideas on what could be the problem? My timing is at 14.:flag:

    Coolant leak help......w/pics

    i had the same problem on my car. It was leaking out of the camshaft cover. Looks like it's time for a new gasket. Also check your water pump bolts.:flag:

    I got the stock 10 holes. My quickest run is 9.13@76 at irwindale on street tires. I heard stock rear ends can't handle slicks hence the radial question. Thanks for the input:flag:

    Yeah I am trying to go fast at irwindale without any engine mods. I am going to wait til this engine blows before I start dumping $$$ in engine mods.:flag:
