switching to an electric fuel pump

more info http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/TechServ/TechInfo/FMFPTech.html the pump should not be loud. if it is it is most likey cavitating or the check valve is stuck. i had that happen on mine and the whole car shook from it it was so loud. once i repaired it i had no problems. i also have...

switching to an electric fuel pump

electric pump with the holley blue a return line is not required. it has an internal check valve that allows it to bypass internally when fuel is not required. also you will probably have to redo most if not all your fuel lines. that electric pump must be gravity fed, close to the gas tank...

    vacuum secondaries vs mechanical

if you want to save some money and still go mech sec. you should see if you can buy a mech metering block and accel pump w/ linkage from BG. if its like my road demon it already has all the holes drilled and screws tapped for the sec. accel pump. as a matter of fact i considered briefly...

    vacuum secondaries vs mechanical

very good info ratio411. another thing to consider is vehicle weight. on a light vehicle mechanical secondaries usually provide better performance same logic as a steeper geared vehicle. so on a 65-66 mustang with 3:55 or numerically higher gears and either a properly stalled auto or manual...

    its time for BOOOOOST!!!!

im only aiming for 300 rwhp or about 400 fwhp. i like the ati cuz its different. if i make any more power than that now i'll have to change the tranny and rear. as it is with 220hp and 268trq at the rear wheels its a blast. oh btw how do you get the image to be included in the text? it...

    its time for BOOOOOST!!!!

thats cuz when im done it will fly its aluminum. theres really not any more gauges than a stock setup. only addition is A/F,boost, and Fuel pressure. which is a good idea to have when supercharged. because i used 2 5/8" for most of the gauges in the main panel they take up more room than the...

    its time for BOOOOOST!!!!

one more one more of the pack outside the car. i painted it with basecoat clear coat to match the rest of the interior and fab'd the front panel from aluminum to match the panel i made for the rest of the guages. it was pretty easy and i could modify one to fit any 2 5/8's gauge if anyone...

    its time for BOOOOOST!!!!

I modified a rally pack to hold boost and fuel pressure for my yet to be aquired supercharger. still not sure whether i'm gonna squeeze the ATI in there or take the easy way out and put a NOVI 1200. but either way. i'll need these to make sure everything is A-ok :nice:

    Electric Fan Questions:

i've been thinking about converting to an electric fan also. my mechanical fan cannot keep the car cool when sitting in traffic. mostly because of the underdrive pulleys. but i also believe the electric fan will be more effective at cooling. my car never runs hot when it is moving. the airflow...

What size tire and wheel for 66 coupe

if you want traction invest in a traction-loc type differential. that one legger is killing your times. no matter what tires you have on there you'll be getting some one tire fire action unless you throw in a locker.

    100gph enough to support 500hp?

should be good. 3/8" or -6an is good btwn 400 and 450hp NA. 500hp and you might want to consider -8an line. once you add a supercharger or turbo fuel pressure is as important as volume. so for example that pump wll need to be able to flow 100gph at 15psi if you want to run 10lbs of boost...

Rear End problem again WTF? Making a noise

mine makes a racket but only when i back up real slow after its all nice and hot from spinning so fast. sounds like it might be the wrong frictin additive. since auburn is a GM diff. it requires the GM friction additive, the ford will lock it up real tight and it will make lots of noise.

    Shaved Door Handles (Need tips!!)

mdjay are you using the inside levers or outside levers? there are two ways to do this. i used the linkage and levers that normaly are operated by the handle on the outside of the door. it sounds like you used the linkage and levers that operate the door from the inside.
