I modified a rally pack to hold boost and fuel pressure for my yet to be aquired supercharger. still not sure whether i'm gonna squeeze the ATI in there or take the easy way out and put a NOVI 1200. but either way. i'll need these to make sure everything is A-ok :nice:

one more

one more of the pack outside the car. i painted it with basecoat clear coat to match the rest of the interior and fab'd the front panel from aluminum to match the panel i made for the rest of the guages. it was pretty easy and i could modify one to fit any 2 5/8's gauge if anyone would like this done to their's. i still have a little detail work to do on it such as straighten out the gauges and actually hook them up.

thats cuz when im done it will fly

its aluminum. theres really not any more gauges than a stock setup. only addition is A/F,boost, and Fuel pressure. which is a good idea to have when supercharged. because i used 2 5/8" for most of the gauges in the main panel they take up more room than the small hard to read 2 1/16"

Lemme try this again...."nice kockpit"...thats what my original post said. The workmanship looks good.

As for not many more than stock...mine has 5 guages, that setup has 9. I would be so paranoid looking at all of them...HAHA

I always thought using the rally pack for more gauges didnt look good, but yer set up has changed my mind. I'm sorta in the same boat as you, im preparing for boost also except mine wont have a belt. I know what you mean about having all the proper gauges. It's expensive, but I'm gonna have this A/F gauge set up next to the Tach in the picture.

Anywaise, yer set up sounds like it is gonna be pretty nice. Go with te ATI, actually, how much power are you shooting for?

im only aiming for 300 rwhp
or about 400 fwhp. i like the ati cuz its different. if i make any more power than that now i'll have to change the tranny and rear. as it is with 220hp and 268trq at the rear wheels its a blast. oh btw how do you get the image to be included in the text? it used to be automatic but now for some reason it is not.

It looks like you've removed the bracing for your stock dash pad and slicked it up. I'm seriously considering removing mine. I'm also interested in building a custom bezel and glove box. I'd like to see some more pics. If you don't mind e-mailing some to me or posting them.

Thanks,
Kirk

Well for 300 to the wheels, I would prolly stick with the NOVI 1200. As for being different, you still dont see too many classics with that set up, so it still would be unique. Whats yer set up so far with the car?

iamblackjack. more pics can be seen on my website. http://bluemonster.freeservers.com. i haven't updated it in a while, and my latest pics are in "my garage" i totally recommend removing the dashpad its such a cleaner look.
rollin68 my current setup is a 69 302 bored 30 over with stock bottom end and 289 cast pistons making 9.67:1 compression. i have early casting 302 heads from PAW with 1.94/1.50 valves and 58cc chambers. got a crane powermax 272 cam with energizer roller rockers. offenhouser 360deg dual plane and road demon 625. MSD billet dist. and 6a box with baslter2 coil. i'm running a C4 trans with torqmaster2000 stall and a cheetah racing full manual valve body. with b&m trans cooler and deep pan. stock drive shaft. and an Auburn pro 8" rear with us gear 3.25:1. if i do go with the novi1200 i plan to use it with a bonnet and electric fuel pump so hopefully i can get a renegade kit that doesn't include all the extra stuff i won't be needing.

I'm glad it's coming along for you.
I would be careful with those casty pistons, 58cc chambers and better than 9.5:1 compression. You'll really want to retard the ignition timing and limit the boost if you want to run on pump gas.

yep. cast pistons bite. that's why i'm going to try to sqeeze a intercooler in there some how. if i can't then i'll back some timing out with the msd ignition it should be easy. and i have a spare short block to rebuild just in case. :)
