    I tend to a live a little more on the conservative side. i would stay away from 9 lbs. I am planning on throwing around 9 lbs on my motor and I have a 306 with a 9:1 comp. Vortec makes a kit that is around 6 lbs without an intercooler.

    Valve Cover Breathers cause MAF Problems

    I am thinking that my problem with my ride might be with the open element air breathers that are on the valve covers. I have half of what I should on the MAF reading. I should be around 8 and I am bouncing between 4.8 and 5.5. I am going to plug these tomorrow, what do you guys think?

    You can get a used axle for cheap....try and get one with disk brakes and 5 lug if you can afford it and the wheels....if not just get a stocker and swap the gears......

    I would go with the 17's. You can fit up to 9's in the front and 9 1/2" on the rear. I have squeezed 305's on the rear of mine.

    Cold Air Intakes and Fox Bodies

    Just make sure that you put the filter in the fender. Having an open element next to the motor just sucks up hot air and kills performance. As you can see from Cenok, it is not that difficult to make.
