    What primer should I use after aircraft paint remover?

    You're in luck, Eastwood Company makes self etching primer in a can! Great for sealing small striped parts, but you'll need to use primer on it after the sealer! If your sealing the body panels, go get a gallon of it, but small parts you can buy a can or two.

    66 fastback trunk carpet

    I just saw on Ebay a company that was selling a kit that does the whole trunk! But it was out of my price range! But it was the a complete carpet setup, then I started to redo my trunk in my Fastback, so back on ebay I went! Now I cant find it. So, keep an eye out on Ebay , you might see it!

    Zoom , Hays and Centerforce are all good brands! And you can go up to 10 1/2 with the stock 157 tooth flywheel If you want to go 11" and need to change the flywheel to a 164 tooth!     Rust Problems in the Trunk

    Dont look to bad to me, but it does look like some tried to cut the Rust out with tin snips! Buy a pair of repo trunk floors and have someone patch them! You dont need to replace the whole trunk floors! Are the frame rails rusted!

    Spot weld removal help?

    Try Eastwood they have a nice spot welder dit that works well! Center punch the spot weld first and use lots of WD40 when doing it! Keeps the bit from wearing down! Use a grinder first to see the welds better, then center puch and then drill away! :nice:
