    MAC STRAGHT SHOT? 25RWHP?

Bump, this thread bothers me cause its still not solved :p I need more proof, cause even 10 rwhp from a CAI would make me purchase it, I always assumed they were nearly worthless though (3 or 4 horsepower at best, and 99% of it coming from the new filter)

    MAC STRAGHT SHOT? 25RWHP?

I'm watching this thread closely. If I see more proof I might just buy one.

    MAC STRAGHT SHOT? 25RWHP?

I'd like to see dyno sheets. 17 RWHP sounds too good to be true. Does this CAI include the intake pipe that leads up to the TB/Plenum?

    More power with synthetic oil?

Is it really worth the extra money? Do you get any more power?

    Chip VS. Tuner

Heres the perfect solution. Buy a Tuner for $299, then goto a good mustang shop with a dyno and get them to dyno tune it with the tuner :p That might be what I'll do.

    Stock rearend

Will the stock rear end in an 04 automatic survive with nitto 555r's and 4.10s if I launch off idle and race with it?

    Curb weight options

The best weight to reduce is rotating mass. These are the things that your engine has to turn. Light weight wheels will reduce weight as well as rotating mass. Same with a lighter driveshaft or flywheel. Removing the front swaybar will increase weight transfer to the rear which will help with...

For those with AUTO and NEW Gears...

Everyone with an auto says to get 4.10s, but I'm hesitant also. I think it'll be impossible to hook off the line with the stock tires and it will end up harming rather then helping.

    cold air intake

Save your money. Put the money into an X pipe or towards gears and just get a K&N filter on ebay for $20 and take the silencer out :)

    Weight Reduction

Someone mentioned rims which is a very good way to reduce weight. It helps in two ways. First, you're reducing weight on the car. Second, you're reducing rotational mass. If the car has to turn the wheels, and the wheels now weigh less, you'll put more power to the ground.

What kind of results can I expect out of these 3 or 4 mods?????? **Advice needed**

Gears will give you the most noticeable gains of the three. However, installation is somewhat expensive and I wouldn't attempt to do it yourself. You'll also need to fix the speedo for the new gears.

How hot do our exhausts get near the exit?

You could maybe try some high temp insulation? Like the fireproof stuff found in walls.

How hot do our exhausts get near the exit?

I'd goto a muffler shop and have them weld another exhaust hanger on for stability. It does get very hot.

NEED HELP!!!!! Do you think I hurt my tranny?????

Neutral drops are bad, but from only 900 rpms you'll be fine. One time I put in neutral to rev while driving, and instead of putting it back into D I slipped it into REVERSE!!!!! I freaked out, I'm very lucky. Talk about a mistake!

    Pulling my preorder

Get it in black, and get the hemi engine. Then do some limo tint and get some chrome 19" rims.. Not ugly ones, but some ones suited for the car

    Pulling my preorder

Me too, I love it. If I was going to get a 4 door I'd get that. I think the crossfire looks like an old 20s gangster roadster too. If I can afford a 45k car, I'm gonna get the SRT-6! 330 hp crossfire :nice:
