    no cracks yet, but haven't driven to much. I think with a proper weld, it won't crack. It is more brittle than the original sheet metal, but very strong.

    I did what he said, good luck with the caps. Maybe some sort of adhesive. They make stuff now that is pretty tough and doesn't shrink.

    I'd run a C-4, but wanted to let you know a TH400 will fit. I couldn't find anyone with one in a 65-66 when I was trying to decide. Mu current build will be pushing the limits of a C4 and I know I will upgrade again at some point, so I made the jump to the TH400.

    I would say get the gas, makes things easier. I went cheap and got a 110v Clarke. I've had no problems and have done everything from sheet metal repairs, floor pans, roof repair, frame work, engine plate brackets, and a ton of other fab work.

    why not just pull the intake to change the lifters? Also, what about the metal in the engine from the cam lobe? Might want to tear it down anyways.

    I did this without the wire, then welded the lip to the quarter on the rears. I did it with it installed, and sat underneath. Probably had to fix a little more due to the welding (putting heat in the thin metal (Chinese quarters)), but extra clearance is nice.

    I 2nd horse sense, it would really suck to have to put a dimple in a coated header. It will cost more to coat after fitting, but you will be sure they fit like you want with all adjustments made.

    I had accufab on my 66, had to dimple, but I had a 351w with highports. I think you can get adapters here http://www.spdexhaust.com/Ford_B.html# to got diagonal pattern or something else too.
