    Push to start wiring?

I've got a Painless Wiring kit 50210 that I use for Water Pump, Fuel Pump, Cooling Fan. However, I just put my engine back in and the key is not cranking the starter so I'm tempted to use the momentary switch for my ignition switch. I'd still have to turn the key on, but this would be simply...

    Aluminum Driveshaft: Yoke too long

problem solved. my mistake. I bought the driveshaft last june and am just installing it. It was the wrong one. Yep, it was the "J" and I needed the "G" since I have a pre-1996. We all make mistakes. I can't believe I'm telling you about this one, though. :)

    Aluminum Driveshaft: Yoke too long

I did and it won't slide into the back of the tranny. Do I just need to force it? I remembered reading somewhere on here wher I might have to switch yokes. Maybe I could try putting the yoke on without the driveshaft just to see if it really does fit.

    Aluminum Driveshaft: Yoke too long

So it's been sitting for a year and I can't return it. I just decided now was a good time to install it. Well, it's too long between my t5 and 8.8 rearend on my 1985 Capri. Putting it next to my original driveshaft, it is about a 1/2 inch too long in the yoke. I tried to swap the old...

Stefs oil pan/starter will not fit!

Well, I got the starter in, but.... When I lower the engine in the bay, the pan hits the k-frame or whatever it's called. Can I notch that frame? If so, how far can I notch it? The bottom of the pan is (of course) wider than stock, but it's about 3 inches away from the fram on the...

Well, I got a pic from someone at Ford media relations. It was the building you are talking about. However, I got a pic large enough to have it printed at 12 x 18" and had it framed. My dad received it today with my letter... He said he had a few tears... :) It's not hanging in my parents...

More news. I believe the correct term for the building was QMP. Quality, maintenence, purchase... If what I found it correct, they planted 5 million sunflowers in the land in 2003... Hope that helps.

I may have it. Not a very god picture though. It looks like it, but I'm not sure... The description is corner of Rotunda and Southfield. Anyone familiar with that building? You probably drove by it every day if you lived in that area. :) http://www.thecarconnection.com/index.asp?article=6362
