    Harness connector for new radio...

    Got it, it was pretty well hidden. I tough it was just a small wire but not it's a coax. Anyway - I did install my headunit w\o any harness adapter. I did it the hard way, cutting all wires, soldering & taping then. Pretty happy, I can finally listen to MP3 CDs in my stang, w00t. Thanks...

    ok got it... WTF our stang have 2 grounds but no antenna wires ? the black one is the ground, and the bigger black\green is ground aswell.. what am i supposed to plug with the antenna ?

    No smoke that i could see. I checked all the fuses under the hood, is there another fuse box in the car ?

    oh snap, i said screw the connector and went to "do it yourself" solder since i'm an electric engineer... and guess what happened, while disconnecting the wires to the old connector the +12 and GRND snapped together bang short circuit and no more +12 V and dash clock went down aswell. Checked...

    that's my guess aswell... it does it when I drive thru a small bump.... is it dangerous if say i dont have the money to change it now and would do it in a month or so ?
