    I would get the MAF tested, my car would do the exact same thing. Turns out I accidentally over oiled my K&N and ruined it, but picked up a used one for 25 from a junk yard.

    Im almost dead certain its a bad Head unit, because my old aftermarket one worked just fine. Now that i remember it when i bought the car, this original stereo was doing this to begin with. Oh well, does anyone have a stereo they are not using, im strapped for cash.

    ok still nothing, I beat those amps like they owed me money, and slammed the trunk a few times. I am begging to think I have a bad HU, and have become screwed out of music, atleast I have my exhaust. Anything else I could possibly try?

    ok anyone have an answer for this. So i cleaned up my connectors on the back of the radio last night. And i decided to unplug the amp one while the radio is on, it got UBER quiet, but when i plug it back it, its still so quiet that when its on full blast You can barely hear it on the road.

    I connected the ground wire, it slipped onto the headunit on the right side. I will have to go over all of the wireing and hopefully find something.

    Well, I sold my aftermarket HU today for some quick cash and put back in the factory cassette tape player back in. Now when I put in my JVC HU I had no problems, easy as pie! But now it doest seem like the amps are working, I have the Mach on the highest possible volume, and Its barely loud...

    I changed them in september I think, put in some cheapo autolites to get me by. But my intake is leaking(cheapo plastic, but I am looking for a PI one) Its cracked behind the alternator and cracked in the thermostat housing. So im gonna check my plugs because Ive went through this problem...

    Past month now my car has been stumbling from 1500-2000RPMS. And no where after that, I even ran her through a few gears:D, but only happens in those RPMS while cruising through town. I dont think i ever noticed it when on the highway on cruise control though. Any ideas???
